Who We Are

Mummy Rahama Children Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that provides care opportunities to abandoned, displaced, and orphaned children.

Our motivation is to provide a loving home for vulnerable children as we prioritise their day-to-day care, rehabilitation, empowerment, and education. We do that with the hope of equipping the children for reintegration into society and preparing them for life as independent adults.

Our Vision:
To provide a loving home for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and equip them for societal reintegration as adults.

FATIMA SHEHU (Ms.)

Fatima Shehu is the founder of Mummy Rahama Children Home. She is an experienced caregiver with over three decades of practice in care support, social work, and home administration. A certified vocational trainer, she has trained and scaled in culinary, soap making, gardening/poultry rearing and traditional zobo making services. She has served as a home administrator at the Destiny Trust Children Foundation and builds on her experience to effective consult and manage alternative care centres like the Mummy Rahama Children Foundation’s home.

SHARON COLE (Ms.)

Sharon Cole is a Legal Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in Negligence and Child Law. She holds a BSC in business administration, LLB, and LLM in Law from the United Kingdom. She is a mother and her passion for children is a joyful journey that unwraps so much goodness in her work. She is the founder of Made in Heaven children foundation. She currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at Mummy Rahama Children Foundation.

OLUWASEUN ABIMBOLA (MR.)

Oluwaseun Abimbola is a writer, researcher, and child advocate. He is the Lead Consultant at Prowrite, an editorial outfit that provides educational consultancy and writing services to individuals, organisations, and businesses. He is also the Founder/Team Lead of the Breach Repairers and volunteers as a Management Lead at The Destiny Trust Children Foundation. Oluwaseun is passionate about care and inclusive education for vulnerable children.

RONKE ABISOLA (Ms.)

Abisola Ronke Akinsete (nee Faderin) is the cofounder & Treasurer of Mummy Rahamah, she is a loving mother who believes strongly in good behaviour and honesty in children. Ronke uses her charitable heart to reach out to all in need of love and protection. Hence her dedication to Mummy Rahamahs cause and all other organizations like Project Hope, MIH, (UK) Special Need Children Charity (S.N.C.C) Nigeria, Lagos Food Bank, Destiny Trust Home & United Nations in Nigeria. (UNAN) Ronkes Abisolas's career profile spans over twenty-two years experience in people management, NGO, corporate administration, customer service, and entrepreneurial management. In addition, she has strong sales and marketing skills used to build LuxAfrique Nigeria Limited, a Company that holds brand representation for two international wineries. She is self-confident, organized, motivated and able to bring her homegrown experience to her entrepreneurial leadership positio.
